In later years they moved into a small home in Ashland, Wisconsin.Anton passed away on November 19, 1928 of a stroke.Veronica died of a heart attack, on January 15, 1955, in her home.

Mrs. Leciejewski's Passing
A real pioneer of this community, and a representative of the kind of stock that made America a great nation and remains its hope for the future, has gone on with the passing of Mrs. Veronica Leciejewski.Lake many other pioneers of this area, she was born in Poland.She came to America while still a girl, and married in her early twenties to Anton Leciejewski here at St, Agnes Church here in Ashland,That was 62 years ago, and she has been a resident since that time.Three daughters and three sons survive.Her husband and two daughters preceded her in death.Funeral services will be tomorrow morning from the Frost Home for Funerals and Holy Family Catholic Church, with Father Ladislaus officiating.One by one our old timers of the eighties and nineties pass on leaving us the heritage and guidance of lives well spent.May we prove able to live up to that guidance.To the survivingmembers of the family the sincere sympathy of ourselves and this community.
