Herman F. Goetsch Sheboygan Press June 9, 1851

Herman F. Goetsch, 75, well-known town of Greenbush farmer, passed away at the Plymouth hospital following a lingering illness. He was born in Germany on March 2, 1876, a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. August Goetsch. When he was five years old he came to America with his parents. He lived at Mequon and Franklin and for the past 43 years operated a farm in the town of Greenbush.
He was married at Franklin in 1903 to Miss Gertrude Mueller. At that time he operated a smithy in that village. For 21 years he served on the Hull's Crossing school board and was assessor for the town of Greenbush for 16 years. In addition to farming he was noted for raising bees and was a member of the Sheboygan county Beekeepers' association. He was a member of the Community church of Elkhart Lake.
Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Conrad (Dorothy) Limberg of the town of Greenbush and Mrs. Jerome (Evelyn) Arnoldi of the town of Sheboygan Falls; two sons, Walter of the town of Plymouth and Robert on the homestead in the town of Greenbush; 18 grandchildren; and two brothers, Albert of Franklin and Dr. Otto Goetsch of Hustisford. His wife passed away 16 years ago. His parents and two brothers also preceded him in death.
