Harold F. Krueger died at the Rib Lake Nursing Home in Rib Lake, WI on Wednesday, December 6, 2017 following a brief illness. He was 81 years old.
Harold was born on August 23, 1936 in Rib Lake, WI to his parents, Erwin and Anna Krueger. Harold spent his life on the Krueger Homestead in the Town of Rib Lake. He enjoyed his work on the farm and helping the neighbors whenever necessary. He was an avid sports fan and never missed listening to a Brewers game on the radio. He was a dedicated K99 listener and enjoyed polka music.
Harold is survived his brother, William (Bill) Krueger of Rib Lake, nephew, Gary Krueger also of Rib Lake and great nephews - Matthew Krueger of Minocqua; Jason Krueger of Ripon; Joshua and Ryan Krueger, both of Marshfield, WI. He is preceded in death by his parents, Erwin and Anna Krueger as well as a sister-in-law, Joyce Krueger and a great niece, Bethany Krueger.
Per Harold’s request, cremation has taken place.
A gathering honoring Harold’s life will take place on Saturday, December 16th between the hours of 12N - 3PM at Zondlo’s Ballroom in Rib Lake. In honor of the care given at the time of his passing, anyone wishing to make a memorial gift is asked to give to Hope Hospice, Inc. of Taylor County for the care extended to Harold at the end of his life.
