Joseph Ralph Fredrickson, 79, of Jacksonville, Fl. passed away, June 20, 2013.

Service will be held at the Jacksonville National Cemetery at 11:00a.m., on July 12, 2013, followed by a Memorial Service at the American Legion (Lakeshore) on San Juan Ave. at 2:00p.m.

Born on January 19, 1934, in Brooklyn, NY. He retired from the U.S. Army Special Forces in 1974 after 23 years of service. He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Jacksonville, Florida.

He was preceded in death by his sister Margaret McGovern, brother, John M. Fredrickson and is twin brother, Fredrick J. Fredrickson. He is survived by his sister Mildred Bowman, daughter, Theresia F. Craft (Richard), daughter, Mildred J. Fredrickson, son, Joseph Fredrickson (Lisa) daughter, Kimberly Fredrickson, four grandchildren, Richard Craft, Regan Fredrickson, Christopher Newton, Ryan Fredrickson and Angelina Craft and one great grandchild, Madison Craft.
