Elkhart Lake-Mrs. Katherine Noths, 88, died at the home of her son, Alfred Noth, in the town of Rhine on Wednesday morning after suffering a stroke on Saturday. Born in the town of Rhine, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jacob Mueller, she was married to Ferdinand Noth March 11, 1883.
Surviving are one son, Alfred, on the homestead; three daughters, Mrs. Robert (Minnie) Zschetzsche and Mrs. William (Lydia) Wieck, both of Aniwa, Wis., and Miss Emma Noth of Howards Grove; three sisters, Mrs. Lena Raeder of Plymouth, Mrs. Fred Schluenes and Miss Dora Mueller of town Schleswig; and seven grandchildren and one great grandchild. Her husband died in 1920, one son, Henry, died in 1938. Four brothers and two sisters also preceded her in death.
Services will be held on Sunday afternoon at the Raeder Funeral home in Elkhart Lake, and at St. Paul Evangelical Church in the town of Rhine with the Rev. Paul Thomas officiating. Burial will be in the Liberty cemetery, formerly known as Eckelmann's cemetery in the town of Rhine.
