Valentine Mueller Sheboygan Press June 18, 1935

Elkhart Lake-Funeral services for Valentine Mueller, aged 74, pioneer resident of the town of Rhine, who died Monday at his home two miles east of here, following a lingering illness, will be held at St. Peter's church in the town of Rhine. The Rev. Paul Thomas will ovviciate and burial will be made in the church cemetery.
Mr. Mueller was born in the town of Rhine, April 11, 1861, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Jacob Mueller, who conducted a saw mill near the lime works in the town of Rhine during those early days. On Nov 1, 1891, Mr. Mueller was united in marriage with Henrietta Klein, when she died March 4, 1893. He was then married to her sister, Miss Katherine Klein on July 3, 1894 and the couple resided on the present Mueller homestead (rest illegible)
