ANNA E MAYER

Mrs. Anna E. Mayer, 83, a resident of Sunny Ridge, formerly of Elkhart Lake and Plymouth, died at Sheboygan Memorial hospital Sunday morning where she had been a patient since Saturday evening.

The former Anna Kramer was born Oct. 11, 1899 at St. Lawrence, a daughter of John and Mary Henschel Kramer. She attended local schools and was graduated from Elkhart Lake High School in 1919. On Dec. 17, 1921 she married Ernst H. Mayer at Elkhart Lake. He died June 10, 1943.
Mrs. Mayer lived at Elkhart Lake until 1969 when she moved to Quit Qui Oc Manor in Plymouth. She moved to Sunny Ridge in 1976. She was a member of the Community United Church of Christ in Elkhart Lake and the Dorcas Circle.

Surviving are a son, Earl J. Mayer of Sheboygan; a daughter, Mrs. Roy (Evelyn) Steinhardt of Plymouth, three grandchildren; two great grandchildren; a brother and a sister, John Kramer and Mrs. Elizabeth Riess both of Rocky Knoll.

Three brothers and a sister preceded her in death.
Funeral services will be at Wittkopp Funeral Home in Plymouth, the Rev. Robert L. Johnston, will officiate. Burial will be in St. John Cemetery at Elkhart Lake.
